How to generate the embed code for specific MLS Listing(s)

This article will summarize how you generate the embed code to display a specific listing(s) on your website.

1 - Navigate to "Listings" tab:

  • Click on "Listings" to manage your listings.

2 - Click on "WordPress / Embed" in the left hand sidebar:

3 - Click the dropdown in the top right corner, and select "Embeddable":

4 - Click on the "INDIVIDUAL LISTINGS" tab in the Embeddable Code Generator window:

5 - Select your source for selection:

  • A. ACTIVE: Select an active listing from your personal listings inventory
  • B. SOLD: Select a sold listing from your personal listings inventory
  • C. BY MLS® NUMBER: Select a listing from the MLS® feed by MLS® number

6 - Select your desired listing to display:

7 - Click on the "GET CODE" button under the selected listing in the right hand column:

8 - Click on "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" in the bottom left hand corner of the Embeddable Code window:

9 - Click on the "X" in the LISTING GROUP box in the right hand column:

10 - Select your source for selections:

  • A. ACTIVE: Select an active listing from your personal listings inventory
  • B. SOLD: Select a sold listing from your personal listings inventory
  • C. BY MLS® NUMBER: Select a listing from the MLS® feed by MLS® number

11 - Select your desired listing to display:

12 - Adjust the optional settings for you listings selection:

  • A. Custom Sort: Select the order in which your listings will display
  • B. Show Filters: Show slider filter controls for listing results
  • C. Initially Hide Filters: Show slider filter controls in a collapsed/hidden mode
  • D. Details Page: Here you can specify under what page listing details will be shown when a listing item is clicked. Please ensure the page has a listing block (or shortcode in WordPress) capable of displaying listing details. For example recip.html or /listings/ in WordPress

13 - Click on the "GET CODE" button at the bottom of the window:

14 - Click on the "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" button in the bottom left corner of the Embeddable Code window:

15 - Paste your embed code into your website:

  • Paste the code into the HTML of your page in the place where you wish to display listings. Note that current implementation will create an integrated iframe with listing content.
