How to Edit the Front Facing Agent Directory

This article will guide you on how to edit the agent directory block on your website.

Login to myRealPage:

1 - Navigate to "Websites" tab:

  • Click on "Websites" to manage your website.

2 - Click on "Pages" on the left hand sidebar:

3 - Click on the Agent Directory (or whichever page you have an agent directory block on) page to edit the page:

4 - Click the edit toggle in the bottom toolbar:

  • A. Edit Block: Click the pencil icon on the agent directory block.

5 - Make your desired edits to the "Roster View" of your agent directory:

  • Note: These options are for the main roster view, which shows your agent roster when you first visit the page.

  • A. Title Options: Change the main block title color and alignment.
  • B. Agent Style Options: Change the agent boxes (or agent cards) rounded corners and border styling.
  • C. Image Options: Change the agent photo styling.
  • D. Contents Options: Change the styling of the text on the agent boxes (or agent cards), select the Overlay Content option to overlay the text on top of the agent image.
  • E. Toolbar and Button Options: Change the toolbar button styling, along with the color of the alphabetical letter search links.
  • F. Visibility Options: Select which items you wish to hide on the agent directory roster view.

Note: At this point you can either "APPLY AND SAVE" or continue editing the Detailed View below:

6 - Make your desired changes to the "Detailed View" of your agent directory:

  • Note: These options are for the agent detail page, once you click an agent from the roster view.

  • A. Content Options: Deselect this option to have the agent biography text show up at full height (Note: By default the option is set to keep the height fixed, and have the content scroll within)
  • A. Form Style Options: Change the styling of the individual agent contact forms.
  • A. Button Options: Change the styling of the buttons that appear on the agent information page.

Note: At this point you can either "APPLY AND SAVE" or continue editing the main Agent Directory options below:

7 - Make your desired changes to the main "Agent Directory" settings:

  • A. Title to display on page: Enter a title for this Agent Directory when it's displayed online.
  • B. Include agents from office: Use this setting to control agents from which offices (if there are any) to include in the display.
  • C. Limit to agents in categories: Use this setting to control which categories of agents are going to be included in the display.
  • D. Agent directory list format: This setting control the format in which the records are displayed in Agent Directory. You have several to choose from. PLEASE NOTE: not all formats support all additional configuration options in this block.
  • E. Show search toolbar: This setting controls whether the search toolbar will be displayed at the top of the Agent Directory.
  • F. Allow to filter by office name: This setting controls whether visitors can search by office name.
  • G. Allow to filter by language: This setting controls whether visitors can search by language.
  • H. Allow to filter by category: This setting controls whether visitors can search by category.
  • I. Show alphabet toolbar: This setting controls where an alphabet toolbar: 'A,B,C,...' is shown at the top of the Agent Directory for quick alphabetic access to agents.
  • J. Per page, display: This setting will control how many records are shown per page in Agent Directory.
  • K. Initially displaying directory: This setting controls whether the Agent Directory will show any agent records at all when first shown, or whether it should wait for the visitor to start a search for an agent.
  • L. Initially arrange agents: This setting controls the initial order of the agents when the Agent Directory is first shown. You can opt to have a defined sorting or a random one to ensure that no agents receive more exposure than others.
  • M. Default "No Photo" image: Pick an alternate image that will be used when an agent record doesn't have a photo uploaded for it.
  • N. Show email publicly: This setting controls whether the agent's email is shown publicly on the web.
  • O. Show categories publicly: This setting controls whether the agent's categories is shown publicly on the web.
  • P. The link to agent's listings: This setting controls whether the link to agent's listings always displays all office listings.
  • Q. Optional Agent Details Page: ADVANCED. This option lets you specify a page to be used for full Agent's details. It is useful when the list of agents is displayed on a different page from agent's details.
  • R. Optional Listing Details Page: ADVANCED. This option lets you specify a page to be used for listing details. It is useful when you would like agent's listing details to be displayed in a dedicated page.
  • S. Enable Auto Agent URL: This setting will automatically generate a URL for agent details pages by combining the first name + last name + a unique ID number. This can be further customized by editing the agent details page. It is currently ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADMINS.
  • T. Enable a sitemap of agent entries for this page: This setting will enable a sitemap of agents displayed on this page and generate URLs for indexing by search engines. It is recommended to enable this option for the main agent directory. Avoid enabling if this is a duplicate of the main directory.

8 - Click "SAVE WEBLET" to save your changes:
