How to Create a Predefined Map Search

This article will guide you on creating a predefined map area search.

Login to myRealPage:

1 - Navigate to "Listings" tab:

  • Click on "Listings" to manage your listings.

2 - Click on "Predefined Searches" on the left sidebar:

3 - Click on "+ NEW SEARCH" in the bottom right corner:

4 - Click on the "Select Field" dropdown under GENERAL CONDITIONS:

5 - Click on "Map Location" from the list of options:

6 - Draw your desired shape on the map:

  • A. Search for location: Search by area so that the map will center on desired location.
  • B. Draw a shape: Click to enable to draw tool, where you can draw out your desired shape to cover the area you wish to search.
  • C. Clear shape selection(s): Click to clear currently selected shape(s).
  • D. Clear all shapes: Click to clear ALL drawn out shapes from the map.
  • E. Zoom in: Click to zoom in on the map.
  • F. Zoom out: Click to zoom out on the map.
  • G. Find my location: Click to center the map on your current location.

7 - Once your have drawn your shape(s), click on "CONTINUE" in the bottom right corner:

8 - Finish up you search details under "Search Settings":

  • A. Search Name: Publicly visible search name to be displayed as the search title.
  • B. Introduction: This text section will be displayed below the search name on your page.
  • C. Search Notes: This could be helpful private notes for your search.

9 - Click on "SAVE" in the bottom right corner to save your new search:
