Step-by-step guide to quickly set up your automated email newsletter and send your first campaign with ease
Step 1: Access the Automated Newsletter Wizard
- Log in to your myRealPage dashboard.
- A) Navigate to the Marketing tab.
- B) On the left hand sidebar, click on Monthly Newsletter to open the onboarding wizard.
- C) Click on Let’s Go to get started.
A simple setup wizard will guide you through creating your newsletter. You don’t need to perfect everything right away—your choices can be reviewed and updated at any time.
Step 2: Basic Settings
- A) Newsletter Title: Enter the title for your newsletter.
- Note: {Month} is a variable that will dynamically change for the given month. You do not need to change this.
- An example of a different newsletter title could be : “Jane Q Agent Real Estate Newsletter - {Month} Edition”
- B) Send Schedule: Pick the date you want to send your newsletter.
- Note: Bear in mind, most real estate boards publish their market reports during the first week. We recommend any date after 7th of the month.
- C) Generate & Notify To Review: Your newsletter will be generated several days before the scheduled send date. Choose the number of days prior that you would like to be notified before your email is sent. We’ll notify you when it’s ready so you can review, edit, and test it. You’ll always have the opportunity to approve the newsletter before it goes out.
Step 3: Personal Introduction
- A) Personal Introduction: Enter in your introduction to your newsletter. This will be the default displayed message following the newsletter title as a way of introducing your newsletter to your audience.
- Note: You can create a different personal introduction for every newsletter later, and fine-tune it to your liking. Learn more here.

Step 4: Blog Posts
- A) Blog Page: Enter the URL of the blog that you would like to feature in your newsletter. If you do not want to include the blog at this time, you can "uncheck" the box that says "Include latest blog posts in the Newsletter"
- By default, we have included the blog on your myRealPage website. In most cases if your website domain is https://yourdomain.com, your blog is very likely https://yourdomain.com/blog.html.
- Make sure you include the protocol of “https://” before your domain name; otherwise it will not work.

- NOTE: Once you paste your domain url inside with the blog page extension, you need to press “ENTER” on your keyboard in order for the system to detect the RSS Feed for the blog.

- B) Include: Indicate the number of latest posts you would like to include inside your newsletter.
- C) Section Title: Give your blog content section a title. You can always edit this later if you would like.
Step 5: Listings
- A) My Listings: Click on the checkbox if you would like to feature your properties in the newsletter.
- B) Section Title: This is the title of the section where your listings will be featured
- C) Include: Choose the number of listings to feature alongside with your ordering preference.
- D) Sold Listings: Click on the check box if you want to include your sold listings in your newsletter. You have the same options above as it relates to the section title and what you would like to include in terms of ordering preference.
- E) Market Listings: Market listings come in from the entire MLS based on your office location by default. Click on the checkbox if you would like to have this enabled. You have the same options above as it relates to the section title and what you would like to include in terms of ordering preference.
Step 6: Real Estate Content
- A) Your Real Estate Board’s Market Reports: Choose if you want your board’s market reports included. This is available only for supported regions, but you can add these reports manually later if needed.
- B) Local Real Estate Content (max 3): Select up to 3 markets for local content in your newsletter. You can add more later, but we limit to 3 to keep newsletters concise.
- C) National Real Estate Content: Choose whether you want to include nationwide content such as prime rate changes, etc.
- D) Provincial Real Estate Content: Choose whether you want to display provincial related real estate news.
Step 7: Sports Content
Add your favourite sports team content by selecting YES and choosing from the available options.
- A) NHL News: Select whether you want to add NHL news from your local team.
- B) CFL News: Select whether you want to add CFL news from your local team.
Step 8: Miscellaneous Content
- A) Tips & Tricks, Advice, Mortgage: Choose this option if you would like general real estate advice and tips curated for you.
- B) Seasonal and holiday content: Select this option to include seasonal and holiday-themed content like recipes, cocktails, mocktails, party ideas, and more in your newsletter.
Step 9: Branding
- A) Email Branding: The email branding takes form of the configuration you may or may not have created for all of your listing notifications and VOW related emails generated by our system.

- If you have set it up, you will see a preview of it here, which will be placed at the header of the email newsletter.

- B) Complete Setup : Click FINISH to complete the setup
