Creating a New Blog Category

This article will walk you through the steps to create blog posts for different categories, keeping them separate and organized.

Login to myRealPage:

1 - Navigate to "Marketing" tab:

• Click on "Marketing" to manage your website.

2 - Click on "Settings" on the left hand sidebar:

3 - Click on "New Blog" :

4 - Create Your New Blog (Category) 

• A. Blog Title: Insert the blog title for your new category. An example can be "Market Reports". 
• B. Brief Description: Add a brief description for your blog
• C. Author Name: Name of the default author to associate future posts in this blog with. Can be changed on a per-post basis.
• D. Author Image: Adds your profile photo to the blog post. 
• E. Author Email: Email of the default author to associate future posts in this blog with. Can be changed on a per-post basis. 
• F. Profile Link: Link to a profile of the default author to associate future posts in this blog with. Can be changed on a per-post basis. 
• G. Allow Comments: Default setting to allow/disallow comments on posts in this blog. Can be changed on a per post basis. 
• H. Create Blog: Save your changes to create your new blog. 

Now that you've completed this step, visit the steps below to make posts to your corresponding blog categories. 

5 - Selecting Which Blog Category To Post Under: 

• Underneath a particular blog post, you can toggle the blog settings and change which blog the post belongs to. See here for a detailed overview of blog post settings.
